The word feast conjures images of sumptuous culinary samples and goblets overflowing with wine. Not so at the Goddess Feast Extravaganza. “There will be delicious organic food available, but this is a feast of art,” explains Chia Ortegon. The artist and fashion designer will present her latest handbag collection and unveil a collection of her paintings. Her event will be a fusion of fashion, music, and art. Enjoy performances by Latin pop-rock sensation Aiko, urban folk artist Joche, electronic musician Smurphio, and percussionist Gino Coca-Mir. Women are asked to wear orange or red, while men wear black. “That way the whole crowd becomes visually exciting,” says Ortegon. The show begins tonight at 8:30 at 7th Circuit Studios. Tickets cost $15 in advance ($20 at the door) and can be purchased at Eye Max, 620 Lincoln Rd., Miami Beach. Proceeds will benefit the Rising Sun Miami family schooling center. Call 786-262-7219.
