Conceited is a top-tier ranked battle-rapper who is king of his own viral hip-hop subculture. Tens of millions of YouTubers around the world know him for ripping opponents’ egos to shreds by rhyming about how lame they are. Nick Cannon is a fan, and now millions of others know him as a cast member on his show Wild ’n Out on MTV2.
Though Conceited claims Brooklyn as his home, his soul belongs to South Florida. The rapper hails from Pembroke Pines, and this Saturday, his feet will be back on the streets of Miami-Dade for the Sole Fresh Sneaker Fest and Car Show at the Cove (10730 NW 25th St., Doral). From noon to 7 p.m., Conceited will host the ultimate sneakerhead paradise of collectible kicks and assorted apparel. Buyers, sellers, and traders will meet and swap goods while DJ A-N-D from 106.7 FM keeps the speakers knocking. There will also be a live auction and cash prizes.
