Palate Party chef/owner Robyn Almodovar has been battling for culinary supremacy since the June 4 premiere of Hell’s Kitchen.
Hell’s Kitchen is the cooking show that pits chefs not only against each other in a series of culinary challenges — but also against Gordon Ramsay, the potty-mouthed chef, restaurateur, and author.
Almodovar is competing with 16 other chefs for the opportunity to win a position as head chef at Gordon Ramsay
Steak in the Paris Hotel in Las Vegas, and she wants everyone in Miami to witness the smackdown!

Chef Almodovar is hosting a watch party tonight at Tobacco Road, starting
with a happy hour from 4 to 7 p.m. with $2 drink specials and live music from Graham Wood Drout.
At 6 p.m.,
chef Almodovar will serve a full menu of items from her Palate Party
food truck, followed by the live broadcast of Hell’s Kitchen at 8 p.m.
Almodovar’s
Palate Party food truck has been outfitted with a flat-screen
TV set, a stage, and LED lighting, so fans will be able to grab a beer
from the Road and some grub from Almodovar before cheering on the chef
on television. Though Almodovar is tight-lipped about how she fared
during the show’s taping, we’re hoping (and assuming) she’ll make it
past this round.
Tonight’s Palate Party menu features:
- Cheeseburger sliders ($8)
-
Lobster mac ‘n’ cheese ($13)
- Shrimp po’boy (12)
- Soft-shell Crab ($12)
- Crabcake sliders ($10)
- Patty Melt sliders ($8)
- Corn ‘n’ crab fritters ($6)
- Meatball sliders ($8)
- Fish ‘n’ chips ($10)
Sides:
- French fries ($3)
