Elizabeth Gilbert’s best-selling novel, “Eat, Pray, Love,” takes place in Indonesia, India, and Rome — the respective settings for romantic, spiritual, and culinary revelations. The Sonesta Bayfront Hotel Coconut Grove and the new Paragon Grove 13 movie theater have teamed to present a weekend getaway coinciding with the film’s release the weekend of August 13 to 15. The package starts at $199 per person and includes:
• Eat: On Friday the 13th, guests will watch the film in a private theater while indulging in an Italian “picnic dinner” with champagne or wine.
• Pray: Saturday brings a trip to the Dharma Studio for meditation and general wellness stuff, followed by an Indian dinner (menu below) at Sonesta’s Panorama Restaurant.
Keep going for LOVE…

• Love: Participants get to explore “the intimate corners” of Coconut
Grove by bike, foot, or sailing around Biscayne Bay (though bike or
sailing costs extra). Afterward, they’ll partake in a freewheeling orgy in
the Sonesta swimming pool. Actually, I’m just making up that last part.
Quite frankly, the love tie-in of this program seems awfully tenuous.
