If you whiz through Dadeland Mall’s parking lot anytime this weekend, you might be pleasantly surprised at what you encounter. The cell-phone wielding SUV moms will be smiling, instead of giving you the finger as they steal your parking spot. The typically sullen mallrat teens will have a spring in their step and an unusually sunny disposition. Is it the spirit of Christmas? Kind of.

In celebration of their perennially popular fragrance Happy, Clinique is focusing its efforts on making people happy in small but meaningful ways.
On Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., there’ll be a hospitality tent where Random Acts of Happiness will take place. What are these random acts? They include free gift wrapping by Clinique elves, free hot cocoa, and free candy canes. In addition to that, prettifying professionals will be offering makeovers for the Moms of the Big Brothers Big Sisters kids, as well as an iPod giveaway.
