Back in 1963 Aerojet competed to build the first rockets that would propel a man to the moon, and they planned to build them in a plant out in rural Southwest Miami-Dade near the Everglades. Aerojet eventually failed to win the NASA contract, and the plant was abandoned, but still stands today. Director Joey Daud put together a short documentary on the remains of the plant for the Borscht Film Festival, which is now online.
