A 13-year-old Fort Myers boy was arrested last Friday for allegedly brandishing a machete while chasing a group of elementary school children at a bus stop. The stunt was apparently in retaliation for the younger boys’ bullying the knife wielder’s 10-year-old friend and for “messing with Mexicans.”
The boys were all waiting at a bus stop Friday morning when one group began bullying a boy, according to WINK news. The boys later admitted that some “roughhousing” had taken place. The 13-year-old, who is friends with the boy who was being bullied, went home and grabbed a machete.
He returned with the knife and chased the boys while threatening to cut off their heads. According to the Huffington Post, he also warned the boys not to mess with Mexicans.
The boys told their bus driver. The driver eventually contacted the older boy’s middle school. He at first denied the incident but later admitted he was just trying to scare the boys. The machete was later found behind a tree.

The teen was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon without intent to kill.
