In the wee hours of the morning, Busy P and DJ Mehdi brought a little bit of La France to Downtown Miami with a short but sweet Ed Banger party.
Not your normal night, the patio was thick with fans of cocaine, left over Ultra-lites, and people who dig good fucking dance music. And after spending the day at SoBe’s Standard, these guys seemed happy to hit Bar. It’s intimate, laid-back, and lil’ dirty.
Mehdi spun hip-hop — Weezy, some Jay-Z, and Big Poppa. The set didn’t go on long enough. Meanwhile, Busy P was wearing the world’s best t-shirt with Beavis and Butt-head doing Metallica. (It’s a ’90s yes!) He played party music for about an hour. And Friends With You handed out Malfi toys.
All in all, fun times, good music.
