Is the news here that Florida is one of the most politically corrupt states in the nation or that there are nine other states that are more corrupt than Florida? We’re still not really sure.

A new study conducted by University of Hong Kong and Indiana University found that the Sunshine State is indeed the tenth shadiest when it comes to corruption.

According to Forbes, the study took into account “more than 25,000 convictions of public officials for violation of federal corruption laws between 1976 and 2008 as well as patterns in state spending to develop a corruption index that estimates the most and least corrupt states in the union.”
