Florida is so full of inhumane crimes that it really takes something truly heartless to make us shudder. Let’s just say we hope there’s a special place in hell for Thomas Elliot Huggins.
The 25-year-old Tampa man is accused of killing and then cooking his own mother’s puppy.
According to WTSP, Huggins allegedly strangled his mother’s 5-to-6-month old pit bull mix puppy on Thursday morning. He then cut the poor animal into quarters.
When a family member learned what Huggings had done, they called police. Investigators found the pup’s ribs boiling in a pot on the stove. The animal’s head was in the garbage can, and the rest of the remains were stored in the freezer, apparently for future meals.

One officer told the news station that the animal was “expertly” cut into pieces, and they believe it may not be the first time Huggings has done something like this.
He was arrested on charges of animal cruelty, and is currently being held on $2,000 bail.
