That poor, poor Paris Hilton. Girl can’t catch a break. Well besides those breaks she caught by being born a relatively attractive girl to a rich family and becoming world famous despite having little discernible talent of any sort.

Just days after being arrested on cocaine charges in Las Vegas, a Miami-Dade judge has ruled that Paris may owe as much as $160,000 to the makers of her ill fated flick Pledge This!

Pledge This! was a universally panned 2006 movie filmed in Miami starring Hilton as an evil sorority sister at South Beach University. Unsurprisingly, it flopped at the box office.

Worldwide Entertainment Group, who produced the film, decided Hilton’s lack of press diminished the potential box office intake and filed sit against the heiress.

$30,000

They originally sought a hefty $8.3 million even though the movie only cost $7.5 million to produce. Hilton came down to a Miami-Dade courthouse last year to testify, and swore she promoted the movie, offering her zodiac sign as evidence. The producers lost the first round of the battle, but continued seeking some sort of restitution.

Now Florida U.S. District Judge Federico Moreno has rules that Hilton may be liable for $163,000 for failing to do interviews with the British and Russian press. However, he wants to review more paperwork before setting a final amount.
