Ivy at the Grove, which has taken over the 535 seats of the three-story former Christabelle’s Quarter, is being billed as “British-style” —  not a very nice thing to say about a restaurant! (More specifically, it will feature “modern American and British comfort food.”) The ground floor will feature a full bar and casual-dining area. The first floor will be for fine dining. So the first floor, in this case, will really be the second floor.

Will rich, pampered folks make the trek to Coconut Grove to attend an exclusive private club? We shall see.

The Ivy, 3159 Commodore Plaza, Coconut Grove. Open daily for “breakfast, lunch, dinner, brunch, and coffee and desserts.” For more information, call 305-600-5453.
