In Florida, we have a higher appreciation for the orange. It’s been a long time since Chris Columbus brought our country the first citrus, and since then it’s become a $9 billion dollar industry, employing 76,000 Floridians. Thus, we owe it to the great orange to not only eat its delicious, nutritious flesh, but also to take full advantage of its bright exterior.
