The tequila-induced party has ended, but why not let Cinco de Mayo live a little longer? Learn authentic Mexican cooking at a Mexican Cooking Demo today at 1:00 p.m. Ernesto Zendejas, head chef of Tequila Ranch, will demonstrate some of his spicy tricks and spill the secrets of his Diablo Shrimp creation. Participants will learn to make this dish, pick up some tips on authentic Mexican cooking, and be able to ask the master chef questions. Zendejas was born into a restaurant family in Mexico City. He followed his heart — and his taste buds — and trained as a classic chef in Europe, where he worked with some of the world’s finest chefs. He has since become famous for his French-influenced Mexican cuisine. The free demonstration will take place at the Macy’s Aventura housewares department located on the second floor.
