Thanks to everyone’s favorite South Beach-residing German design goddess, Project Runway fans worldwide think of Miami as the perfect place to flit about in dazzling “paaahty dresses.” While season three contestant Uli Herzner certainly captured our fair city’s penchant for social events, we know that local fashion can be just as complicated and interestingly gritty as Miami itself. As luck would have it, the reality television gods of Project Runway will be back to give Miami another go-round at cable television fame.

By now fans know what to expect —challenges to make garments out of a material totally not conducive to clothing, fabricated in-house drama, and hello, celebrity guests. If you’ve got the right stuff bring three articles of clothing you’ve designed, a photo portfolio of your work, a completed application form, and a winning smile to the Westin Colonnade, 180 Aragon Ave., Coral Gables. This open casting call will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Visit www.bravotv.com/casting for more information and an application form.
Thu., April 5, 9 a.m.-6 p.m.
