Many of us can’t muster the will to exercise without the incentive of a reward. Thankfully, the Gables Bike Tour provides sunshine, fresh air, and tasty barbecue to motivate participants for its 12-mile ride this Sunday.
Bikers who sign up will pedal from the Coral Gables Museum (285 Aragon Ave., Coral Gables) to Matheson Hammock Park, which features coral rock buildings, nature trails, and picnic pavilions where grilled hotdogs and burgers will be served.
General admission for the 11 a.m. tour is $10, or $5 for museum members. The grub is included, and bikes and helmets can be rented from No Boundaries (305-444-3206), which is located across the street from the museum. Participants should RSVP by calling 305-603-8067.
