From the disturbing causeway face-eating incident in Miami to Maryland’s homicidal housemate, the word “zombie” probably appeared in more headlines this year than ever before. And the zombie mania isn’t over. Now that Halloween’s almost here, the undead are about to walk again — specifically, in the first-ever South Florida Zombie Crawl at the Shops at Midtown. On October 20, attendees can get all dolled up in their goriest getups and hit Fountain Plaza for food, drink, and debauchery. The ticket cost, ranging from $30 for general admission to $300 for a VIP pack for two, ncludes sample food and alcoholic beverages including mixed drinks, beers, wine cocktails at 18 participating businesses in the area. The lineup currently includes Five Guys, Giraffas, Hurricane Grill & Wings, Machiya, Maidenform, Mercadito, Moloko, Muscle Maker Grill, Ricochet, Sakaya Kitchen, Sweet Point, The Cheese Course, Vintage Liquor and Wine Bar, Wine Vault, World of Beer, and Yogurbella.
