If you’re a fan of Pink Floyd, there’s a great chance you’ve not only heard the band’s album The Wall but also seen the fascinating animated film of the same title. For those who haven’t, Actors’ Playhouse at the Miracle Theatre (280 Miracle Mile, Coral Gables) offers you a chance to check it out. As part of the 2014-15 Free Film Series, and in conjunction with its live performances of the stage musical Murder Ballad, the theater will show Alan Parker’s Pink Floyd: The Wall this Saturday at 11:30 p.m. As surreal and interesting as it is, The Wall is only one of multiple free films showing during the upcoming months, including The Rocky Horror Picture Show, When Harry Met Sally, and Rocky. It’s also the perfect kind of film for the midnight movie crowd. General-admission tickets are available at actorsplayhouse.org, but the seating is first come, first serve, so prep yourself for a wild night of music and moving images.
