Warning: If you are afraid of clowns, do not read on. Miami’s white-faced, squeaky-nosed, flower-lapelled population is about to explode this week when the circus rolls into town. Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey’s Built to Amaze circus takes up a ten-day residency at the American Airlines Arena (601 Biscayne Blvd., Miami) beginning this Thursday. In what is hailed as one of the “greatest shows on earth,” the event promises to be spectacular and unforgettable. There will be clowns, elephants, tigers, tiny cars, stilt walkers, trampolines, and enough glitter and rhinestones to blind you. It’s a classic night out at the circus, all the way down to the human cannonball.
