Comedy can be more competitive than a monkey knife fight, so thank heaven that local comedy promoters the Have-Nots have made it their personal mission to put Miami on the national comedic map. Their latest attempt has one simple goal: Get a lot of Florida’s best talent on one stage, film it, and put it online for all to admire. Connecting with L.A.-based comedy content provider ComedyTime.tv, the Have-Nots have pulled together a night that features many up-and-coming comedic voices, such as Jessica Gross, Daniel Reskin, and Dougie Almeida. Altogether, nine comedians will perform, featuring a strong diversity of voices ranging from the ultra-personal to the absurd. If all goes according to plan, the show will help build the reputation of South Florida’s comedy underground.
