The fashion circle of life begins with a designer creating a sketch and ends with works of wearable art, composed for special occasions or everyday use. This Saturday, museum-worthy pieces from Roberto Cavalli, Luca Luca, and Onda de Mar swimwear will be on display on the Fashion Art Ball’s runway. SoBe socialites and scenesters will play model, so trust us, there’s no hotter ticket at 8 p.m., when everyone will be in the Fleur de Lis Ballroom at the Fontainebleau.
No need to make dinner reservations — local restaurants such as Michy’s and Table 8 will provide the cuisine. And the music — courtesy of DJ Irie and R&B crooner Joe — will certainly be club-worthy. However, the ball isn’t just about grub, tunes, and fashion. All proceeds from the ticket sales and faboosh silent auction will benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
