After a weekend of bathing suits and sundresses, there’s nothing worse than squeezing yourself back into suits and neckties, only to brave the 100% humidity.
Not to be negative. At least fall’s right around the corner, which means patio dining and AC-free afternoons once again. In the meantime, here are a few ways to spend your week.
Thursday
- Mall of the Americas Kids Club Party: It’s almost back to school time, and fully occupied children are definitely something to celebrate. So make with the music and cotton candy already.
- Las Comadres & Friends National Latino Book Club at Books & Books: Bond with fellow bibliophiles over Diana Lopez’s middle school tome, Ask My Mood Ring How I Feel.
- New Times Tweet Up at Acropolis Greek Taverna: Eat, drink and smash the hell out of some dinner plates at the Grove’s cozy Greek spot.
