Either way, Variety reports this afternoon that Miami’s most famous retired old ladies who talk about sex all the time are soon to be recast as Istanbul’s most famous sex-crazied old women.
Disney apparently has signed a deal with a Turkish broadcaster to remake ‘Golden Girls’ as a 13-part series for Turkish television.
Hulya Kocyigit stars as Dorothy,
Nevra Serezli as Blanche, Fatma Girik as Sophia and the immortal
Turkan Soray will take on Rose.
