Lace up your corsets and bring out your beer steins! The Renaissance Festival is heading south. The annual fest at Cauley Square Historic Village (22400 Old Dixie Hwy., Miami) will once again be South Florida’s center of old-fashioned entertainment.
Attractions include authentic food and drinks, artisans selling their wares, and entertainment that’s downright medieval. Throw your rose at your chosen knight during the joust, or check out a sword fight. With a turkey leg firmly in hand, you’ll be surrounded by costumed performers, and you might even be inspired to try on some Renaissance fashion yourself. It’s an excellent place to show off your best Game of Thrones cosplay in honor of Sunday night’s season premiere.
There’ll also be an animal showcase called Predators Unlimited, featuring exotic animals that would make even a Lannister lion cower in fear.
