Before Donald Trump’s empty condo buildings completely block out the sun in Sunny Isles, run to Samson Oceanfront Park. The beautiful, 2.1-acre facility is one of the last open spaces along the North Miami-Dade oceanfront, and this Wednesday, it will host a Sunny Serenade Concert. From 7:30 to 9 p.m., Clarita Filgueiras’s modern flamenco dance group, Flamenco Puro, will cover revelers in a warm cloud of Andalusian harmony and fancy footwork that will chase away the midweek blues. Be sure to bring a blanket or a beach chair for maximum relaxation, or if dancing is your thing, pack shoes that easily kick off. The concert is free, but the park will have light refreshments for sale. Parking will be available along 174th Street and in the municipal parking lot on 175th Street.
Wed., Sept. 16, 7:30 p.m., 2009
