Most folks head to Aventura Mall to pick up something snazzy at Bloomingdale’s, Sephora, or Donald J. Pliner. Today, after you fill your bags with upscale goods, don’t forget to bring home some fresh produce from the indoor farmers’ market. The weekly seasonal sale has been going strong for about five years, and the booths have migrated from the sweltering parking lot to the soothing indoor fountain courtyard. In addition to stocking up on freshly cut flowers, handmade candles, and potpourri, you can snag some delicious jams, gourmet vinegars and oils, delectable baked goods, and mouthwatering guacamole. “We’ve had vendors selling everything from pickles to honey. Everyone enjoys finding a bargain,” quips mall representative Laura Nichols. Call 305-935-1110, or visit www.shopaventuramall.com.
