If you’re itching for a little adventure, but don’t have the guts to abandon house and home for an Indiana Jones-style exploit, the CitySolve Urban Race might be right up your alley. This “urban adventure game” is like a real-world version of everyone’s favorite exercise in one-upmanship, Trivial Pursuit. Players take to the city streets in teams of two to solve puzzles, complete challenges and answer questions. In past races, racers have had to bowl a strike, build a house of cards, identify an ice cream flavor, and put a puzzle together. Who knows what crazy Miami-style ride these folks have planned. Chugging a Call a Cab and surviving brain freeze at Wet Willie’s? Taking a bath in the Hialeah Fountain? Chugging a colada before running a mile? Probably none of the above – but speculating wildly is fun, isn’t it? Prizes for top performers include $300 for first place, $100 for second place, and $50 for third place. There’s also a costume contest, a funniest tweet contest and top family honor.
