If you love bikinis, basketball, or women who get into both, Christmas has come early for you this year. The Miami Spice Bikini Basketball team has chosen its roster, and we’re serving up photos and interviews of 12 of its newly named members. Consider it our Christmas gift to you.
Meet Delilah Barefield (and yes, that is her real last name). A 2011 graduate of Coral Glades High School, 18-year-old Barefield made the transition from girlie girl to basketball phenom in fifth grade. A track star and basketball player in high school, she’s dabbled in almost every sport under the sun.

“HighsSchool was an awesome experience for me. Junior year I got injured and it kind of held me back from playing college ball, so after graduating I just kind of let it go for a little bit. I’ve always been iffy about whether I wanted to go to a college and play, but then Miami Spice came around and I thought, this is perfect! Something I’ve always been interested in.”
And what did she ask for from Santa this year?
“I wanted a pair of Prada boots, I love stuff like that. Or a Louis Vuitton bag or hot pink Nike Free Runs, those are my top items.”
Barefield, a Capricorn, also digs pink and purple and leopard print; dancing anytime, anywhere; working out; shopping and snapping pics of her family.
