Even if you’ve never wanted to own a motorcycle, admit it, you’ve at least wanted to be in a bike gang. Not a gun-toting, Gimme Shelter gang maybe, but an open road, Easy Rider bunch? With American flag helmets, leather jackets, and a mean pair of cowboy boots? Definitely.
Well, that dream isn’t dead if it happens to be this Tuesday and you’re heading over to Picnics 50’s Diner at 6 p.m. for Motosport Bike Night. Think of it as a book club, except there’s absolutely no reading and everyone arrives on a motorcycle. Plus the diner is a complete flashback. Located inside Allen’s drugstore, it has swivel stools, vinyl booths, and all the food that gave Marilyn Monroe those incredible hips — shakes, sundaes, and chocolate pancakes. The night ends at 10, but you might want to be a rebel and demand to stay longer.
