It’s 7 p.m. and you must be lonely. You’re driving toward Seminole Hard Rock Live with a ticket that reads, “Rob Thomas and OneRepublic,” and you’re hoping that somewhere in that audience is a person who feels the same way you do. You know, stranded and, like, really intense in a way you can’t describe all that well so you just end up repeating, “Wow, that’s intense.” And when you find that someone, you’re going to be with that special person forever and ever and ever the same.

At 7:30 p.m., the music begins and it’s like a wave of… intensity, like the sun rising out of the darkness. (Although the presence of the sun precludes darkness, you elide this fact to retain the intensity!) And then there is that amazing someone, standing two sections over! You start running toward each other, and suddenly you realize the $40-to-$70 ticket price from ticketmaster.com was the best $40 to $70 you’ve ever spent. The two of you keep running, and you just don’t stop.

Congratulations. You’re lonely no more.
