Cancel the time machine — famed 18th-century Parisian nightclub Chat Noir has been reborn at the Catalina Hotel’s Maxine’s Bistro & Bar. Each Thursday, Collins Avenue will be infected by the spirit of debauchery that the legendary nightclub invented, only instead of the Parisian art world’s cognoscenti performing on a piano, you’ll be entertained by the Queens Cabaret, a duo of drag queens that will tantalize with gender-bending theatrics. This interactive burlesque cabaret show might have you dancing on a table or cringing underneath, but the fun hangover will be well worth it. Add troubadour Brendan O’Hara (accompanied by Randy Singer on harmonica) to the mix and the evening should leave you screaming, “Oui, oui, oui!” Admission is free, and your dinner and drinks will be served up with a nice discount for this Thursday night’s event. Head there to chat under the noir moon from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m.
