Above: Looks like the Ritz to us
So Ritz-Carlton is taking over the St. Regis on Fort Lauderdale Beach. This is good for somebody, but it might not be good for those of us who love Cero, very likely the best restaurant in Broward County. Says our critic: “The interplay of textures and interesting visuals distinguishes chef Toby Joseph’s dishes. But the real surprise is how simply composed they seem; even with the culinary intelligence behind them, they feel fresh and artless.”
Right. But very soon St. Regis will be Ritz-Carlton, a company whose other local restaurant, Angle in Manalapan, is nowhere near as good. Pray they don’t screw with the food.
