There’s good news today for those in Miami drooling over moving munchies. The Biscayne Triangle Truck Round-up is back on this week with a new location at the parking lot of American Legion Post #29 (6445 NE 7th Avenue, Miami). After moving from the former NE 109th and Biscayne Boulevard location after neighbors complained, one of the city’s largest mobile food courts seems to have found a fitting new home.
Short Order spoke with BTTR organizer and Jefe’s Original Fish Taco & Burgers owner Jack Garabedian about this new spot, “I think it’s great, actually. It’s going to be right on the Bay there. There’s going to be a wonderful backdrop.”
The 15 trucks will be parked near the lawn, overlooking the water starting this Thursday, February 3. “We’re really relying on people knowing the location,” he said. “It’s got a lot to offer.”
The meet-up will include beer and wine (for those of age) and there will be bathrooms (thankfully!). Bring your blankets and chairs and set up a pleasant evening picnic with the whole family. The food will be served between 5:30 to 10 p.m.
This event is sponsored by Casa 9 Palms LLC and Alyse (beer and wine). American Legion Post #29 is not co-promoting this event.
