Round of applause, please! Yet again, Miami proves its culinary salt with not one but two local eateries making Urbanspoon’s list of America’s most popular new restaurants in 2012.
The two names that earned a nod were the Blue Collar and The Federal Food, Drink & Provisions. A huge hometown congratulations to these two local haunts!

Not only did Miami get double kudos, but Florida topped the overall list with six total listings. The other inclusions across the state were Rebel House in Boca, Black Sheep Restaurant in Jacksonville, Peperoncino in Orlando and I Love Tacos Taqueria & More in Pembroke Pines.
The joints that that made the cut were those that scored the most coverage and reviews from professional food critics, bloggers, Urbanspoon peeps and diners. The list of 50 spans a total of 37 metro areas in 22 states. Check out the full list here.
