New Times‘ annual arts shindig, Artopia, is back for its seventh year next Thursday, February 26. Presented in conjunction with Miracle Mile and downtown Coral Gables and held at the Coral Gables Museum, Artopia is a celebration of Miami’s thriving culture.

Winners of the local MasterMind Awards will be announced (and awarded $1,000 each), interactive performances will bring out your inner artiste, live bands will rock the stage, and, most important, free food and booze will abound.

For the low ticket price of $25, you’ll get to nosh on a seemingly endless supply of food from participating restaurants. This year’s roster includes the popular My Ceviche, which will serve its ceviche in ají amarillo and fish in coconut, as well as downtown newcomer Tokyo Blue, which will give unfamiliar palates a taste of the restaurant’s concept via tuna tacos, crispy rice, and spicy tuna. Additional restaurants include Pummarola (expect mini caprese salad, mini pizza bites, mini arancini, and cannoli with Nutella); Los Ranchos (beef fajitas and gallo pinto); Divino Ceviche (a plethora of Peruvian delights such as arroz chaufa and the chef’s specialty); and Love Is Blind’s famous Serrano ham croquetas (the same from Dolores but You Can Call Me Lolita).

Scope out works by local artists while you sip bottomless drinks provided by liquor sponsors. Whether you’re into tequila (Milagro), beer (Beck’s), rum (Sailor Jerry), vodka (Russian Standard), or gin (Hendrick’s), there’s something for every type of boozer. Consider Artopia your chance to see just how much you can drink and eat in three hours. In case you want a little extra time, VIP ticketholders ($45) get early entry to the event at 6 p.m., as well as additional sustenance from Rusty Pelican, which will dish out giant stuffed clams with coconut orzo and fried capers, as well as duck crepes with blueberry compote.

Where else can you get such a bang for your buck and an evening of festivities that also includes a fashion show, interactive paint exhibits, and rubbing shoulders with Miami’s creative minds?

Artopia takes place Thursday, February 26, from 7 to 10 p.m. at the Coral Gables Museum. Tickets for regular admission cost $25 and are available via miaminewtimes.artopia.com. VIP tickets get you early entrance at 6 p.m. and cost $45.
