Centolire Trattoria Italiana, which promises to bring authentic Neapolitan cuisine to South Miami by way of New York City, opens for dinner tonight, July 29, at 8.
The restaurant, under the direction of restaurateur Roberto Patriarca, offers fresh, homemade pastas from various regions of Italy, with a focus on Sicilian dishes.

Menu offerings include several antipasti, such as a frutti di mare of calamari, shrimp, and lobster ($18); polpette (veal, beef, and pork meatballs, $10); and fried “calamari and friends,” a mixture of fried calamari, zucchini, and shrimp ($17). Salads include burrata e speck ($16), panzanella ($8), and beets and Gorgonzola ($14).

Entrées include a spaghetti con aragosta ($28), osso buco ($38), and grilled whole branzino ($34).
The restaurant is celebrating its grand-opening week with a complimentary antipasto for each table, as well as a free glass of prosecco per guest.
Centolire will be open for dinner Tuesday through Sunday from 5:30 to 11 p.m. and until midnight Friday and Saturday. Lunch service isn’t available yet but is in the works.
