A sign posted on Washington Avenue, between 6th and 7th Streets, reads “Coming Soon: Daddy’s Soul Food.” Not much info to go on, as nobody is answering the phone number listed on the website. But we do have all of the menu items, from fried catfish to southern fried chicken to black eyed peas to peach cobbler. Keep going to see what else is going to be plated…
For starters: Corn bread muffins, hot links, lemon pepper wings, crab cakes, and deviled eggs.
Chicken: baked, smothered, and fried; fried chicken gizzards, too.
Beef: Ribs, hot links, and smothered steak.
