According to the folks at CocoWalk, the casual, Florida-based chain will open at the old Tu Tu Tango space this fall.

The outdoor shopping area has had quite a few closures over the years (Hooter’s Crazy Piano’s, Tu Tu Tango, the Burgundy Room, etc.), but the addition of the ever-popular Paragon Grove 13 and other new arrivals have given the mall a resurgence. Stop by on any given evening and it’s abuzz with activity.

The folks at CocoWalk say they’re stoked to welcome Duffy’s. “I know that we’re all excited!” says CocoWalk’s marketing director, M. Peggy Quattro.

“Both parties really wanted to make it happen. Duffy’s Sports Grill really wanted to be here, and we really wanted them. We thought this would be a great addition to CocoWalk and for the Grove,” Quattro says. “It’s going to appeal to the younger locals and visitors and to the older crowd as well.”

The sports grill has multiple locations — mostly in Broward and Palm Beach counties — and they’re known for their massive menu, awesome two-for-one drink specials, and sports memorabilia on display. Plus, they’ve got lots of promos and goodies for frequent diners via their MVP card program.

Though they don’t have an official opening date yet, it’ll be in the fall, according to Quattro. First up, they’ll be doing a few renovations.

We’re thrilled about a new option for beer-guzzling, sports-crazed Grovites. Stay tuned for updates.
