Given our proximity to Halloween, monsters are everywhere at the moment. But for Walking Dead fans, blood, guts and gross-outs are a weekly occurrence.
And if you’re one of the many macabre folks into all things undead, you can join fellow fans for a weekly viewing party at Brickell’s El Vato Tequila and Taco Bar, complete with bloody booze and gruesome grub.

The themed menu includes creepy cocktails like Dead Man Walking, Zombie Margarita and Bloody Maria. Slurp.

As far as food, there are the frightening zombie (chicken) fingers ($10), zombie taquitos ($10), zombie brain (chili) cheese fries ($12), blood red nachos ($12) and even a zombie salad ($10) — for the health-conscious flesh eaters.
“I wanted to have some fun and create items people would enjoy to eat but still be afraid to try,” said El Vato’s chef Bart. “It was all inspired by The Walking Dead.“
As delicious as all of the above sounds, remember, the special menu is only available on Sunday evenings, so sadly, no noshing on zombie nachos on a Tuesday.
The eats ain’t all. They’ve also got staffers in full zombie regalia, AMC giveaways and, of course, the show itself on screen.
According to the folks at El Vato, the Director always stops in when he’s in town and hand picked the spot as one of the official AMC watch party locales. The weekly parties kick off at 9 p.m., when the show airs. So join your fellow superfans of the supernatural this Sunday for a ghoulish good time.
