Calling all burger chefs in Miami!; You know who you are — you’re the guy or gal that prides yourself on your burgers.
You probably own several aprons with funny sayings on them and one of those custom branding irons so you can put your initials on your creation.
If you have your own meat grinder, or the local butcher knows you better than he knows his own family — we’re talking to you!
Today is the deadline to enter your burger in the Short Order Best Backyard Burger Competition.
When news happens, Miami New Times is there —
Your support strengthens our coverage.
We’re aiming to raise $30,000 by December 31, so we can continue covering what matters most to you. If Miami New Times matters to you, please take action and contribute today, so when news happens, our reporters can be there.
Simply send a photo of your burger along with
your name, email, contact phone, and a description of your creation to contest@thegrindmiami.com.
All entries will be whittled down to the ten best meat pucks! Short Order will
post those top ten burgers, along with their recipes for voting. The
top three vote-getters will be invited to cook LIVE! at The Grind alongside
the other competing restaurants and chefs. There is no cost to compete.
The Short Order Best Backyard Burger competition is open to
amateur chefs and home cooks only. Professional chefs and restaurateurs
are not eligible to enter this competition. Click here for more details.
