The Great Taste of the Grove Food & Wine Festival is celebrating its 22nd year with a two-day festival of food, wine, and music.

On Saturday and Sunday, April 14, and 15, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., Coconut Grove’s Peacock Park will host the lively event, showcasing Miami’s best restaurants and hundreds of wines and spirits.

Unlike many food festivals, which charge outrageous fees upward of $75 just to walk through the door, the Taste of the Grove remains at a budget-friendly $5 to get in (free for kids under 12), with a pay-as-you-go policy for food and drinks.

This also means that instead of the usual how-much-do-I-need-to-drink-to-get-my-money’s-worth mentality that comes with shelling out hundreds of dollars on a ticket, you’re free to budget your calories for items you actually want to put into your mouth.

In addition to the usual wines and beers found at festivals, Great Taste will have a sommelier tasting area and connoisseur spirits

lounge, providing guests with the opportunity to sample some of the best

wines and spirits on the market.

The event also features the Best of the Taste awards, given to participating restaurants based on
