Good news: Jimmy’z Kitchen is crossing over from South Beach to Wynwood at 2700 N Miami Ave, Miami (ground floor of the Cynergi building). The second location of this beach favorite, best known for its Puerto Rican mofongo, will open its doors on Wednesday.
And it gets better. Chef/owner Jimmy Carey has created an expanded menu for the Wynwood location with more seafood, more specials, steaks and a global selection of beers and wines. And mofongo, of course.
The new Jimmy’z is housed in a bigger and better space on North Miami Avenue. Keeping with the spirit of its new ‘hood, the restaurant will showcase local art on its new walls. It also features indoor and outdoor seating and a modern, loft-like feel with exposed concrete walls, bright orange walls and colorful chairs.
