Really, there’s no place in Miami more appropriate to eat tapas than Coral Gables. This city has the look of old Spain, perfect for a new authentic Spanish restaurant. Lizarran is coming to town with paella, tapas and pinchos ready to enter your belly.

The Coral Gables location is the first in town, adding to other Lizarrans in New York, California, Russia, and Dubai. Owners plan on expanding to take over Florida with their Spanish flavors.

Mainly the menu includes pinchos and tapas, good for lovers of the finger foods, cured meats and Spanish cheeses. The Tabla de Quesos includes a sampling of six moldy cheeses, including brie, goat, blue, and Manchego. Tabla de Embutidos offers meats, flat bread, fresh tomatoes, and olive oil.

The VIP opening took place lat night at the old Diego’s location. Find em at 65 Alhambra Plaza or visit lizarran.com.
