The Miami Heat does everything better — from bromances to championships to hipster gear. So it’s no surprise that the same standards apply to the team’s arena food. This weekend, one of Miami’s top chefs will dole out gourmet eats to top-dollar ticket-holders at American Airlines Arena. No hot dogs for these folks.
The Design District’s MC Kitchen and chef Dena Marino will pop up at this Saturday’s Heat game to serve a special menu to Flagship-seat ticket-holders (AKA Mr. and Mrs. Moneybags).

The ticket-holders shelled out $60,000-plus per ticket — so they’ve earned a little wining and dining. According to reps from MC Kitchen, Marino will serve dishes from her newly introduced fall menu to Heat fans in the Flagship lounges. The team will take on the Boston Celtics in a Saturday-night battle royal.

If you can’t make nice with a millionaire before then, you’ll have the chance to hit up two other events, on January 23 and April 6.
The menu was tailored to this particular occasion, reps say, and includes artichoke heart bruschetta with farm poached egg, shaved truffles and creamy Parmigiano fonduta; heritage-breed Poulet Rouge chicken with baby roasted root vegetables and meyer lemon pan jus; Parmigiano-Reggiano cavatelli with vine-ripened tomato sauce; and grilled swordfish with stone-oven-roasted eggplant caponata, celery, pine nuts, tomato conserve, and balsamic vinaigrette.
Remember those mouthwatering descriptions when you’re choking down nachos and hot dogs come Saturday night. The other half has it good.
