If you’re still recovering from all the beer drinking and wing eating during yesterday’s Super Bowl, you might want to speed up the process because Ms. Cheezious opened the doors to their grilled cheese brick-and-mortar yesterday and will be up and running tomorrow with a slew of never-before-eaten items for your stomach’s disposal.
As far as today goes, you might want to take it easy with a three-course lunch at Edge. Don’t worry, executive chef Aaron Brooks sources all local ingredients and he’s on a health kick himself, so expect the same to be reflected in his food. Wednesday night stay in want and catch up on Best New Restaurant, which you can do with dinner from Tongue & Cheek delivered right to your door courtesy of Bravo. And if by Thursday you’re ready for more beer, head to Ted’s at YoungArts for the new happy hour that includes dollar buns and two dollar brews.
Week starts now.

Lunch Break at Edge Steak & Bar
Finding a good lunch spot where you get your money’s worth, food that’s tasty and good for your body, and where you can be in and out in under an hour is quite the challenge. But it’s one that Edge Steak & Bar executive chef Aaron Brooks has accepted and mastered. Pop in for their lunch break three-course menu priced at just $23, which rotates weekly so your taste buds never get tired. On the menu this week? Fire roasted tomato soup or house smoked salmon to start followed by your choice of Aussie lamb tortellini, grilled chicken, or a black bean burger. Dessert hadn’t been decided yet but pastry chef Keith Wallace can do no wrong so whatever it is it’ll be a treat.

Ms. Cheezious Now Open You’ve been waiting for this day for a long time, and now it’s finally here. Ms. Cheezious finally has a place to call home besides the streets of Miami, and in case you haven’t heard yet, it is serving permanent new items like the croqueta monsieur and patty melt. If you don’t where to find them, just take Biscayne to MiMo and then look out for the art installation of Ms. Cheezious showing some leg. Next up: Tongue & Cheek. Well, not yet. That’s happening during the week of SoBeWFF in an episode titled “Battle of the Burgers.” But in the meantime you can reap some benefits by ordering dinner for delivery via Postmates and Bravo will pick up the delivery charge. Might be a good idea to try the burger so you can be ready for when the episode airs on February 18.
