With Art Basel only a few weeks away, Michael Schwartz has announced that he’ll be returning to Design Miami.
Michael’s Genuine Food & Drink Café — a casual restaurant serving wine, cocktails, paninis, salads, and sweets — will operate during show hours from December 4 to December 8.

Much like last year, Michael’s Genuine Food & Drink Café will offer both table service and to-go options. Michael’s Genuine Home Brew will be served, as well as Panther Coffee and handcrafted drinks.
Menu items include a daily soup ($7); stone crabs with mustard sauce and lime; Greek farro salad with French feta ($10); Florida rock shrimp salad ($19); grilled chicken panini ($15); and vanilla panna cotta with dried fruit compote ($8).

Some dishes are making a comeback for the second year in a row, such as the roasted beet salad and the chicken and caprese sandwiches. The savory galette and croissant plate ($13), proffered with a side of arugula salad, is among the café’s new additions.
Michael’s Genuine Food & Drink Café will run during Design Miami show hours, starting Wednesday, December 4, at 11 a.m. and closing on Sunday, December 8, at 6 p.m.
