The Dream Hotel South Beach held a weekend-long party to celebrate the official grand opening of its Miami Beach location.

The party started Saturday evening as guests were greeted by fire-eaters, welcome cocktails, and models in gold swimsuits and powdered wigs before being ushered up to Highbar, the hotel’s rooftop poolside bar. Nicky Hilton was seen on the step-and-repeat and holding court in the VIP lounge.

Geoffrey Zakarian, who provides all food and beverage operations for the SoBe boutique hotel, was away shooting one of his many television appearances, but Tudor House executive chef Jamie DeRosa was busy behind the burner all evening, making sure guests had their fill of the sliders, lamb belly, meatballs, homemade Oreos, and popcorn-flavored milkshakes that were passed around.

Watermelon cocktails and vodka ice pops, provided by Grey Goose, cooled down the evening as DJs Andrew and Andrew provided the music.

Festivities continued the following day when Margaret Zakarian hosted a Norma Kamali swimsuit show, consisting of informal poolside modeling and a cabana-side showroom set up for the event. Guests and buyers were treated to champagne on ice, fresh fruit, and passed goodies (again provided by Chef DeRosa, who was back in the kitchen early Sunday).
