The spicy tuna causa is paired with an avocado emulsion instead of sliced avocado like in Brickell and SoBe. The smoked rococo ceviche combines shrimp, calamari, and octopus with a smoked leche de tigre and rococo sauce. It’s served with crispy onions and sweet potato purée. The Eye Dr. Roll features shrimp tempura, avocado, cream cheese, crisp carrots, eel sauce, spicy mayo, and shredded nori. Lomo saltado is a Peruvian classic. Pair it with a chicha maracuya — a drink made with purple corn and pisco. Or you can go for a lemongrass macerado. (Also with pisco.) For a sweet ending to the night, try the suspiro de limena. It’s dulce de leche with pisco merengue and cinnamon. Follow Carla on Twitter @ohcarlucha Follow Short Order on Facebook, Twitter @Short_Order, and Instagram @ShortOrder.
