Do you have to be truly lucky to get you and Mr./Ms. Other a three-course meal for $35 a person at one of downtown Miami’s chichi new eateries?
Not if it’s at Truluck’s, the Brickell Avenue “Seafood, Steak and Crab House,” where every night is the right night for a Date Night Menu that offers a choice of soup or salad, one of five entrees and either of two shared desserts for less than the price of a platter of stone crabs.
Ditch the shorts and flips, though, this place has got imported marble on the floor, onxy on the bar, leather on the booths and mahogany on the walls. To keep a few more dollars in your pocket, suck up a couple of half-price cocktails or sip from a 25-percent off bottle of wine at the restaurant’s daily 4 to 7 p.m. cocktail hour, then squire Mr. or Ms. Other to dinner.
