Good news for anyone who missed the chance to rock out ironically while simultaneously creeping out sunbathing Midwesterners this past February … As our sister blog County Grind reported earier today, Bruise Cruise Festival organizers have announced the second installment of the sea-faring indie music fest, taking place February 10 to 13, 2012.
A squeaky clean Carnival Imagination will haul 520 dirty hipsters, piña colada-sipping party animals, and sunburned headbangers from the Port of Miami to the Bahamas and back while some of last year’s popular acts including Thee Oh Sees, Quintron and Miss Pussycat, and DJ Jonathan Toubin provide the soundtrack. And new bruiser bands added to the lineup include Cali garage-rockers the Soft Pack, Detroit art-punk act the Dirtbombs, and alt-comic Neil Hamburger. Ticket sales will be announced soon at bruisecruisefestival.com. Check out the flyer after the jump.
Bruise Cruise with Thee Oh Sees, Quintron and Miss Pussycat, DJ Jonathan Toubin, the Soft Pack, the Dirtbombs, and Neil Hamburger. Friday, February 10, to Monday, February 13. Carnival Imagination, boarding at the Port of Miami, 1015 N. America Way, Miami. Visit bruisecruisefestival.com.
